Registration:
A non-refundable yearly Registration Fee is required at
the time of registration.
Payment
of Tuition Fees:
We offer you three options of payments: 1. An automatic monthly
deduction from your credit card or debit card(authorization MUST be signed). 2. Payment for the entire school
year in advance at a 5% discount. 3. Two payments:
September-January and February-May (entire school year Tuition
must be paid by December 1). A charge of $25 will be assessed
for any returned check or invalid notice from credit or debit
cards.
Withdrawal
and Refunds:
A MINIMUM OF 30 DAYS NOTICE BEFORE the first of the month is
required to discontinue any classes. Notice given AFTER the
first of the month will incur charges for the current month AND
the following month. All withdrawals must be done IN PERSON at
the school office. A parent or adult student must complete and
sign a withdrawal form provided by the school. Completion of
this form will stop any auto debiting charges and allow for any
appropriate refunds. Any discounts offered for advance payment
of tuition fees will be deducted. All payments are
non-refundable. Schedule of classes is subject to change. If the
school suspends a class due to low enrollment, a student will be
given the opportunity to either move to another class or wait
for the class of first choice to be filled. NO WITHDRAWALS OR
REFUNDS AFTER APRIL 1.
Missed lessons and Make-Ups (Private lessons):
Your teacher has
reserved weekly lesson time for each student and regular
attendance is expected.
If
private music lessons are missed, the students are allowed to
attend makeup group music classes, each class 45 min.

Altogether,
there will be 9 group makeup classes on Saturdays and Sundays
during the school year. The makeup group music lessons are given
in the form of: Music Theory & Master Class (for piano and
voice), String Ensemble, Band (for guitar, drums and wind
instruments). The private lessons missed because of Spring
Break will be rescheduled with your regular music teacher.
(Exception: only students ages 13 and up are allowed 2 private
make-ups per school year).
You can sign up for makeup classes using a binder on the front
desk counter
(just choose days convenient for you).
Missed classes
and Make-Ups
(Group
classes):
In
case of absence your child is entitled to a make-up lesson.
However, if the child stops lessons, make-ups will not be
allowed. To sign up for a make-up class do not call our school.
Our receptionists are not authorized to schedule make-ups over
the phone. Parents or Adult Students have to sign up for make-up
classes
in person,
using a Make-up binder (on the counter in the waiting room).
No refunds or credits are given for missed lessons.
Extreme
Weather or Unexpected Interruption of Lessons:
If the school must cancel lessons
due to extreme weather or events beyond our control such as
power outages, hurricanes, etc., the missed lessons will be
added on to the end of the school year. No refunds for lessons
missed due to these reasons will be given.
Substitutions:
The
school reserves the right to provide a substitute teacher if the
regular teacher is unable to attend a lesson.
If the school cannot arrange a substitute teacher, any missed
lessons will be made up by your regular teacher.
Care
of Students:
The school is not
responsible for providing before or after class care for
students. Children will not be |
allowed to leave the school
without an adult. Children must be picked up immediately after
their lesson. If a child is not picked up by the school closing
time, we charge $10 for every additional 15 minutes your child
stays at the school.
Injuries:
Parents, legal guardians and
students waive the right to any legal action for any injury
sustained on school property resulting from normal lesson
activity or any other activity conducted before, during or after
lesson time.
Any medical conditions we should be aware of.
Before registering a
student, it is parents’ responsibility to inform the school of
any medical or mental condition of the student that may
interfere with a normal teaching process. We are a private
school, and our teachers are not trained to work with students
with certain disabilities.
Photo
Release:
The school is hereby granted permission to take photographs
and do video-taping of the students to use in brochures, web
sites, advertisements and other promotional materials the school
creates. Permission is also hereby granted for the school to
copyright such photographs in its name.
It is the
responsibility of the parents or adult students to be aware of
all school activities.
The school will post all such notices on the front door, on the
bulletin board, on the Bravo Academy web site, as well as
sending notices home with the students.
According
to our contract with the teachers,
your teacher can not give her/his phone number to students.
Also, the teacher can not collect students’ phone numbers. All
matters regarding schedule, payments, missed lessons, etc. are
